El Perelló, a place to enjoy every day of the year.

OUR MONUMENTS

The Perelló district has numerous monuments that reflect the history and culture of the territory.

These are of particular importance, as they help us understand social and cultural evolution over time, and have great artistic and historical value. These constructions also function as a tourist resource, due to the fact that they give charm to the municipality.

Some of the most prominent are: The Via Augusta, the Torre de les Guàrdies, the Hermitage of Sant Cristòfol, the Coll de les Forques monument or the Windmill.

The town’s heritage value is impressive!

VILLA FLORIDA

Terres de l’Ebre increases its representation in the Vilas Florides movement.

From 2020, Perelló began to be part of it, being thus the first town in the Baix Ebre region by adhering to the project promoted by the Confederation of Ornamental Horticulture of Catalonia (CHOC) and which distinguishes municipalities that work to transform their public spaces through landscaping and the improvement of green spaces.

The fact that El Perelló joins this movement is a way of maintaining and improving green areas and spaces.

The Museu de les Guerres del Perelló has 4 visitable floors where a collection of more than 1,000 pieces from different eras is housed, and where the most important events in each of them are explained.

The first presents a collection of pieces from the Neolithic to the beginning of the s. 20th The other three floors of the Museum are dedicated to the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939), where the town of Perelló was heavily bombed by the aircraft of the foreign allies of General Franco’s army. More than 2,000 bombs leveled almost the entire urban center.
