Enjoy the Perelló activities throughout the year!
Sant Antoni
In January we celebrate the Festa Major del Perelló in honor of our patron saint, Sant Antoni Abat .
Sant Antoni is the patron saint of Perelló’s major festivals. As a representative event, on January 17 , we celebrate Els Tres Tombs, in which horses and carriages decorated for the occasion take part, making three tombs through the streets of the town, ending with the offering and blessing of all the animals and pets in the Plaça de l’Esglesia.
For almost a week, young and old enjoy a range of scheduled activities. The most popular events are: the Vespers with the giants, correfocos and the proclamation of pubilles and heirs, the Calmant party, the cake competition, the fun party of the baby girl, the youth night with musical performances, the tribute to the old people, the literary festival, the run, the cycling race and the fireworks as the closing of the festivities.
Firabril
In April , El Perelló celebrates Firabril, the honey and oil fair. A unique and delicious gastronomic experience!
This fair dates from 1882 and, despite being an agricultural fair in its origins, in recent years it has become one of the most important fairs in the Terres de l’Ebre, where star products are promoted from the locality, honey and oil. It has three distinct areas:
The Perelló Zone where honey and oil producers are located to exhibit their products. In the same space there are show cookings by local chefs and tastings of honey, oil and wine.
The Gastro Zone that allows you to taste the different gastronomic products accompanied by musical performances. A space with very good energy.
The Artisan Zone where you will find all kinds of products made by hand and with the heart by our local artisans.
In addition, there is a wide range of activities for children: workshops, handicrafts, traditional games, parade with the giants, attractions, concert and children’s entertainment.
We cannot fail to mention the traditional breakfast with rice sausages and aioli and the tasting of donuts with Perelló honey.
At the end of the fair, a draw is held among all the people who have bought honey and/or oil during the days of the fair. The prize consists of the amount of honey and oil equivalent to the weight of the winner.
Sant Cristòfol
In the month of July , we celebrate Sant Cristòfol, in honor of our drivers.
Sant Cristòfol, patron saint of automobiles and protector of travelers, is a very special day for Perelló drivers. The day begins with the concentration of trucks, tractors and other vehicles that head down the street from the town to the hermitage of Sant Cristòfol to be blessed and make the floral offering to the monument and the fellowship lunch.
In the afternoon, the rest of the vehicles go up to the hermitage to be blessed. The revetlla is celebrated with a popular dinner and dance music in this idyllic setting surrounded by nature.
Santa Llúcia
Enjoying the sea breeze at a popular dinner with dance music is priceless. In the afternoon, you can stroll and shop at the craft market located on the promenade of Morro de Gos beach.
The party continues on the 15th of August with a popular muscada, enlivened by the music of the xaranga and as a finale the fireworks display on the shore of the sea.
