MOUNTAIN ROUTES
The routes and mountains of Perelló are of great relevance, as they are part of the cultural and historical heritage of the locality. The protected area of the Serra de Cardó-El Boix with the silhouette of the summit of Cabrafeixet, is the identity symbol of the town, and at its feet, the cave paintings that form part of the Mediterranean Arc.

CABRAFEIXET
El Morral de Cabrafeixet is the highest mountain located in the municipality of Perelló with an altitude of 754 meters.
During the route, we can find different caves such as Cova del Sol, Abric del Pas, Cova de l’Aigua and Cova de la Mallada.
We can also appreciate the cave paintings of Cabrafeixet, which are found in the Nines ravine. These paintings are estimated to be between 15,000 and 25,000 years old, and were declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1998. For this reason, all visitors need to take care of the environment: to be able to continue enjoying these historical treasures.


THE ROUTES
There are a wide variety of routes to explore and discover the magnificent natural environment of Perelló and the most outstanding places of interest in the area.
Despite this diversity, all the itineraries available have one characteristic in common: they will all allow you to enjoy a natural environment with a high historical value. In addition, each route has good signage to make your journey easier.
Since the difficulty varies depending on each one, we give you different options so you can choose the one that best suits your needs and preferences.
They are of great importance for the municipality, as they are essential to protect the different living beings of the territory. Some of these ponds have a picnic area where you can rest, such as La Bassa d’En Ferrà, La Font de Tita and Bassa de l’Espinal.
